The following is a sample wedding reception itinerary with details. Upon meeting with me, we can personalize it according to your needs and preferences.

6:00 p.m. - Guests arrive at the venue. Upon entering, they are greeted by background music. Ballads, soft R&B and other slow tempo music will be played during dinner.

6:15 p.m. - The wedding entourage assembles into a procession line outside the room and they are introduced (in couples) by DJ /MC. The bride and groom enter last. Wedding march (or other song selected by bride and groom) is played in the background.

7:00 p.m. - A toast to the bridal couple is offered, usually by the best man. The bride or groom (or parents) may have a few words to say. This is a good opportunity to thank everyone for all of their help and all of you guests and special invites for attending.

7:10 p.m. - The bride and groom will have their first dance. Followed by a dance with the bride and her father and the groom and his mother.

7:20 p.m. -  Money / Dollar dance is started by the newlyweds. Usually, to a song chosen by the couple. The following events will be altered by the elapsed time of this event. I've serviced weddings that have had almost everyone in attendance participate in the dollar dance. So, be prepared for at least a half hour of slow dancing music.

8:00 p.m.- The garter toss and the throwing of the bouquet occur. Sometimes a "conga" line is started and lasts a few minutes. I will make the effort to gather as many guests to participate is this memorable wedding ritual.

8:10 p.m. - Dancing music begins. The guests that caught the bouquet and garter will be the first to start the next dance. Usually, a song that will eventually get the other guests onto that dance floor, too.

9:00 p.m. - The cutting of the cake. Picture taking continues. Usually, music is not stopped. An announcement is made, but guests continue dancing. At this point in the event, all wedding rituals and mandatory bride & groom participation has ended.

11:55 p.m. - The last dance is announced and played by DJ Ivan Lopez.
