I have been DJ-ing school events for the last 14 years. My mixing skills and personal interaction will keep any dance floor full of energy from beginning to end. The Newest and "Cleanest" Music

As a professional DJ, I know all the new music as much as any student attending your event. I purchase and receive music from DJ music companies (record pools), who only sell to radio stations and professional DJs. I have all the hit music before it is played on the radio. If the song is on the Billboard Hot 100, then I will have it ready to play for your school's event. All of the music is edited and "clean" for general audience play, so it's acceptable at all school events. Also, I take requests before the start of the event and during the entire function.

Awesome Light Shows

Lighting is not something I think of as an extra, but as a must have at a school event. It is an essential part of any school dance or function. Lighting is included in all school packages at no additional charge. The light shows include: Intelligent DMX Lights (which create awesome effects on walls or throughout any venue), Standard effects (which completely fill any venue), High Powered Strobes (which give an effect that will make time stop), and other effects (such as fog, which is available upon request) which will fill any room or hall with a spectacular light festival for all to enjoy.

Large Events

I can handle your largest school dance. My systems are capable of handling hundreds of students. No event is too large for DJ Ivan Lopez.

Small Events

For small schools, such as private or charter schools, I will discount my rates, if your event if for 75 students or less. I understand that not all schools are part of a large school district or have a large student population, therefore my DJ & MC services can be catered to your smaller-sized event, without losing the quality of sound, music or lights.

All This Put Together

DJ Ivan Lopez knows how to get the party started. I will mix all the music students want to hear, without offending any of the chaperones or school staff. All the lighting will be controlled to create the right effect, which will be appropriate for the type of celebration and venue. I will take requests all throughout the event and try to play as many of them as possible. Special Rates for Schools Only

I understand that schools are always on a budget, therefore I offer special rates and packages.

Rate #1

Basic School Package: I will provide: 2 Speakers, 2 standard multi-colored lights (if requested), 1 wired microphone and unlimited music. This package is intended for small school dances with less than 75 guests or small school events, such as banquets, awards shows or fundraisers, such as a car wash, carnivals, auctions, etc. The rate for this package is $60 per hour. 3 hours minimum required for this package.

Rate # 2

Premium School Package: I will provide: up to 4 speakers (if needed, due to size of venue or amount of guests), 2 standard multi-colored lights, 2 intelligent lights (10 different gobos/patterns & 12 different colors), 1 strobe light (if requested), 1 fog machine (if requested), 1 wireless microphone and unlimited music. This package is intended for medium to large scale school dances with 75 to 500 guests, such as proms, homecomings, formals, etc. The rate for this package is $100 per hour. 3 hours minimum required for this package. As an added bonus, you will receive one lunch (30 - 45 minutes) dance (a $125 value) at no charge, when you contract this package!

Lunch Dance Package: I will provide: up to 4 speakers (if needed, due to size of venue or amount of guests), 2 standard multi-colored lights, 2 intelligent lights (10 different gobos/patterns & 12 different colors), 1 strobe light (if requested), 1 fog machine (if requested), 1 wired microphone and unlimited music. This package is for a lunch (30 - 45 minutes) dance of any size. The rate for this package is $125. The price of this package is based on amount of time for set-up, duration of lunch, tear-down and travel expense. You can receive this package at no cost (free), if you sign a contract for a Premium School Package.

For an additional cost, make your event more memorable by having your guests receive the following:
