First and foremost, congratulations! Allow me to guide you through your upcoming quinceañera. Certainly planning for a quinceañera can be an overwhelming experience, but for now let my years of experience guide you through to a successful event. I've had the pleasure of servicing numerous amounts of quinceañeras. From traditional to contemporary, every quinceañera is thoughtfully planned and coordinated  to meet your wishes and expectations.    

If the your event is still months away, I must applaud you for being a well prepared person. As you are already know, planning a quinceañera is no easy task. Therefore, I'll try my best to ease your mind by answering most of your questions. 


What should I do first?

The essential three should be booked/contracted as soon as possible. A written contract (is a must) for all services and deposits should be paid for as soon as a date for the quinceanera is decided upon. 

First, the venue ( i.e. hall, club, restaurant, etc.) of the reception and party, must be visited, inspected and decided upon. Your deciding factors should include the following: number of guests, catered or non-catered, facilities available, open or closed bar, size of dance floor,  and cost. 

Second, the entertainment (DJ, Band, etc.) should be interviewed, reviewed (via live performance, video, referrals, and/or character) and decided upon. Your deciding factors should include the following: years of experience, musical genres/styles available (that will be catered to your preferences and guests), equipment used (from the audio components to the lights), speech/oral competency (for those special announcements), coordination/planning ability/flexibility and cost per hour or event. 

Finally, the caterer (if provided by venue or not) should be visited, menu availability discussed, food samples tasted and entrees should be decided upon. Without a doubt, food selection is solely based on your tastes buds desires and cost.  


Will you help with the coordination of the quinceañera?

One of the most important services I offer, which occurs during our first meeting, is in coordinating and planning for a successful celebration. I'll provide a complimentary itinerary for your quinceanera.  I can help plan every detail or simply follow your plans. If you're looking for interesting ideas to make your reception particularly distinctive, I have  plenty of ideas, which I can suggest. Let my years of experience help you in making your quinceanera the one that everyone will be talking about for years to come.


How much choice do I have in the music selection?                                                                  

As much as you'd like. Occasionally, clients decide to hand-pick each and every song that's played at their reception, which is perfectly fine, but not necessary. I have many years of experience, which allow me to play the right music for everyone to enjoy. I have made thousands of people dance and your event will only add to the amount of satisfied customers. 

Rest assured that you are hiring a professional with professional talent and experience! During our meeting, I'll ask you and your family to request and suggest as many specific songs and genres that you enjoy dancing to. Based on your likes and dislikes, I will have a better understanding as to what songs and genres will be acceptable and enjoyable at your event. Nonetheless, I will carry just about every genre in existence, so don't worry. 


When should I speak with you about the coordination?

Please contact me as soon as possible. No time is too early for planning. I can help you (and your daughter) create a carefully coordinated itinerary for your  entire reception. I'd be happy to set  up an appointment at your earliest convenience.  We can also meet as often and as many times as you'd like before the big event. Please contact me as soon as possible since quinceaneras are often booked many months in advance.


What time will you (the DJ) arrive at the venue/facility?

I will arrive forty-five minutes to an hour before your scheduled start time to prepare. If you would like to ensure an earlier time of arrival, please let me know. 


How much gratuity (tip) is appropriate?                                                                                                  

Gratuity is not included in your contract. It really is your choice to tip or not. When people tip the disc jockey, generally 10% to 15% of the total payment is given, but never demanded. Tipping is a voluntary act of kindness to a job well done.


What kind of music do you play?

As mentioned on the homepage, just about everything! From Hip Hop to Pop to everything in between! If the song or music is played at any of the local radio stations, then you're in luck. You will only hear edited or "clean versions" for all ages to enjoy. Let me know of any special requests and I'll be glad to play them at your event.  Also, visit the "Mixes and Music" section to hear a sample of what can be played at your quinceanera or the current Top Ten to see what other clients are requesting.


Can you suggest any quinceañera songs and waltzes?

Of course! I've provided a sample of some of the most popular titles requested for "Father/Daughter Dance" and other quinceañera rituals on the "Song Samples" section. Also, short video clips of quinceañera waltzes (valses). I can also play any other song that you have in mind.


Do you have a sample itinerary?

Yes! (click) I can also recommend other formats that have been used in previous quinceañeras.
